Meet the Founder

I’m Jennifer Szabo, the heart behind Cayena.

Born and raised in Venezuela, I began my career with Amnesty International and working on human rights campaigns with Indigenous communities in the Amazonas. Since moving to Canada in 2009, I’ve spent over 15 years advising clients on Indigenous rights, ESG standards, sustainability, and governance.

I’m a strategist, project manager, and facilitator.

I’m bilingual, left-handed, and obsessed with Formula 1 strategy (yes, really). I believe work should be thoughtful and human, and I bring both professional and lived experience into everything we do.
