Maria Dolores is a seasoned economist with extensive experience in both public and private financial sectors, including national and international treasury and trust fund management. She has held senior leadership roles in government, particularly in agriculture, industry, and commerce, and has collaborated with multilateral organizations in her capacity as Director General.

A contributor to legislative drafting efforts, Maria Dolores also brings over two decades of academic experience focused on international trade. Since 2002, she has taught university-level courses and continues to provide online instruction in Spain and the UK, supporting students in areas such as microeconomics, macroeconomics, finance, investment portfolio analysis, and accounting.
